Lake Como

Lake Como, in Lombardy, is a luxury tourist area famous for its spectacular landscape at the foot of the Pre-Alps. The shape of the basin resembles an inverted “Y”, with three thin branches that converge at Bellagio. At the end of the south-western one is Como, known for its examples of Renaissance architecture and for a funicular that goes up to the mountain resort of Brunate.

Made unique by the mild climate and the surprising landscape of a thousand shades: the blue hues of its clear waters, the green of its woods and its luxuriant parks, the gray of its rocky reliefs and of the stone villages perched between lake and mountain, rich of history and culture.
