LOVE , commonly known as Il Dito , is a sculpture by the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan .
The work, located in the center of Piazza degli Affari in Milan, is located in front of Palazzo Mezzanotte, the seat of the Milan Stock Exchange. The name is an acronym for ” freedom , hatred , revenge , eternity “. The sculpture, 4 meters high and 60 (which becomes 11 in total including the base on which it is erected), is made of Carrara marble.
